After taking out the division two title of the 5×5 Roller Derby Championships last year, the Inner West Skatecrashers are begging, borrowing and hosting comedy shows to get them to the division one comp, The Great Southern Slam, and Eastern Regional Roller Derby Smackdown.
For one night only, IWRDL are bringing Sydney’s best established and emerging storytellers, standups and improvisers to the Giant Dwarf stage.

Our headliner, Becky Lucas, broke into comedy as a 2013 RAW Comedy national finalist, before blitzing the standup scene, performing to sell-out crowds across Australia and the world. When she’s not killing it on stage, she’s lighting up the screen, writing for Stan’s The Other Guy and the Emmy-nominated Please Like Me, presenting the ABC documentary Big Bad Love, and starring in and co-creating Comedy Central’s Share This.
Our other amazing acts have written for or performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Utopia, Tonightly with Tom Ballard, Story Club, A Likely Story, Sydney Fringe Festival, Honi Soni and more, so hurry – a line up this good will sell out!
