The next IWRDL Learn to Skate program will commence on the 1st of March 2026 at Robyn Webster Indoor Sport Centre, Tempe Recreational Reserve. The program will run on Sundays from 4.00pm – 5.00pm and will run for a total of 10 weeks, finishing on the 10th of May. There will be a week off on the 5th of April for Easter Sunday.

This program is suitable for beginner to intermediate level skaters who want to develop basic skate skills, develop skills for casual skating and if you would like, start the journey towards playing roller derby. This program is for people 18+ only.

Skaters are required to wear:

Quad skates

Helmet

Knee pads

Wrist guards

Elbow pads

Total program fee: $225

Skate hire is not included in the fee and IWRDL do not have loan equipment for use during this program. We do however, have lots of experience and are more than happy to answer any questions or guide you where needed.
